Smart Phones of today

The Motorola Sholes, or Motorola Droid is you wish, hasn’t seen many good photos since we heard about the handset, but now the guys over at the BGR have been sent in a couple of pictures of the Motorola Sholes/Droid.

Apparently the images aren’t full resolution, but an image is better than no image right? A different source has apparently informed them that the Motorola Sholes/Droid ROM moves at “break neck speeds” and gets new builds daily.

Hopefully sooner or later there will be further better images of the Motorola Sholes/Droid hit the net waves, until then this will have to suffice.

HTC has unveiled the previously codenamed Leo who is now called HD2, a Windows Mobile 6.5-based smartphone which also packed the customizable Sense UI. We’ve already previewed and spec’d the HTC HD2, but the rumors regarding the 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen phone are not finished yet as we have to know when, where, and for how much is coming. If Vodafone Spain and O2 UK are getting it sometime in December, the US version is dubbed to become available in early 2010.

A couple of days ago we reported that the EU version without a contract will be shipped as of November 11th for a price of $740, and the good thing is it can be used in the US even if under the EDGE network. However, things have changed now as we spotted at T-Mobile flier, meaning that the phone is coming to T-Mobile US. The flier also shows some secret HTC HD2 features like TV/Movies at your fingertips and E-Reader content.

The flier being ready makes us think that the HTC HD2 might arrive early in the US, not 2010 like previously thought, but we don’t want to rush things and we’re waiting for more information (or more leaks) to be released soon.

I know you’re interested in the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and it has just popped up on T-Mobile Germany’s official website here. The site also says that the Bold 9700 will be available next month (November). This is the first sign of many to come, we should be expecting an official announcement very soon.

So, whether you call it the Bold 2 , the 9700 , or the Onyx , come next month you’ll be able to lovingly place its 480 x 360 display, WiFi antennae and all that other hotness in a Curve -sized space inside your pocket

The HTC Tattoo has arrived on the shores of the UK and will begin shipping tomorrow. The second SIM FREE unlocked Android device from HTC in the UK, the Tattoo, is a solid and reliable smartphone. With a 2.8” display, it is slightly smaller than many of the other devices on offer today, but brings with it increased portability, with no compromises in performance and specification.

The first HTC Android based device having a 2.8 inch QVGA touch screen of 240 x 320 pixel resolution. It comes with a 3.2 mega pixel camera, FM radio, audio input 3.5mm, digital compass, input 3.5 mm, Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth. HTC Tattoo comes in four different colors such as Brown, white, Graphite and Black. It weighs 108 grams, having a battery of 1100mAh Li-ion battery. The battery can support a life time of 5.7 hours and a standby time of two weeks. It has a processor of capacity 528 MHz, RAM of 512MB storage capacity.

Applications like emails, texts, photos and status updates into one consolidated view keeps friends in touch, providing good efficiency and a comfort feel on using the phone HTC Tattoo.

Features such as Auto focus, flash and macro mode are not supported by the camera. Image quality is not that good. Phone should be kept motion less for 4 to 5 seconds for camera to save a picture while taking a snap. Blurred snaps resulted due to shaking of the phone.

Google’s mobile services like Google maps, search, Google mail services are provided in this phone. User can download number of songs, games and apps. Multiple codecs like MP3, AAC, eAAC+ are supported by the music player. High speed data options like Wi-fi , Bluetooth, HSPA, HSDPA and HSUPA are also provided.
